Unifi Updates and Issue Notes

I’m starting this because I have had some issues with Unifi – not enough to get rid of it, but enough that I want to keep these notes on it and I figured it may help other people.

2024 01 09

• U6 Lite not adopted
  • Factory Reset
    • Says Adoption failed
  • Selected ‘remove device’ on iOS App
    • Shows Adopt on:
      • Blue button on Network Console
      • Received an App alert shows U6 Lite is available to be adopted
    • App tells me it was adopted!?
      • I didn’t actively adopt it. This was Automatic!
        • NOTE: I think this same process happened with my USW-Lite-8-PoE, but I reset again and caused myself some headaches.
    • Adoption verified functional

2024 01 05

Noticed U6 Lite was in ‘adopting’ state well after the update.

• Update
  • 23:09 USW-16-PoE to 6.6.53
    • No issue

2024 01 02

• Updates:
  • 14:53 – Update AC-Pro to 6.6.55
    • No Issue
  • 14:47 – Update U6 Lite to 6.6.55
    • Minor Issue
      • Could not Manage LED. Did not check AC-Pro to see if LED was managed
  • 13:47 – Update USW Lite 8 PoE to 6.6.53
    • ISSUE
      • Did not adopt
      • Factory Reset, then it appeared to adopt, but I ignored it and did the factory reset again and spent time getting it working again.
